Paul, I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, but this is easy to do from WDSC with the iseries table view, for a given member and file. Just put *LIBL in the library. I have decided to use the approach whereby I use the 'QUSRJOBI' API to get my current User library list and then for the given member and file attempt an Open with each library in the list until I find the first one that works. (Using the F card extensions EXTFILE/EXTMBR) I have this API already available in a service program so this influenced my choice. We are using the HP4250 (ASCII Laser) with memory card that contains the signature. The company that supplied us the memory card also gave us a "Digital Image Data Sheet" containing the information of the font ... a control string, font metrics, file name, etc. On the AS400 I need to code the printer file to used this new font. How do I go about doing this? I been reading up on Workstation Customizing Object (WSCST) and retrieved the WSCST for the HP4000 series. I modified it to specify this font, but have not been successful in creating the object. Please help! Am I going in the right direction?
