Actually, I like EvalMap instead of Eval-Corr, EvalMap = Eval with subfield Mapping vs. Eval-Corr = Eval Corresponding But that's just to solve the EVAL-CORR hyphenation issue; and Z-SUB & Z-ADD have not been used in years (unless you're still using RPGIII-style coding). What the problem is for me is that teaching RPG IV is becoming so complicated due to the total lack of consistency. I mean, one can not advocate free format and then use Z-ADD as justification when Z-ADD is not part of free format syntax to begin with. -Bob Cozzi www.RPGxTools.com If everything is under control, you are going too slow. - Mario Andretti -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Michael Jacobsen Sent: Tuesday, June 07, 2005 8:20 AM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: Hyphenated OpCode Names I personally don't see the big deal. But then again, I haven't been programming very long so maybe I am missing something. What is wrong with Eval-Corr? Wouldn't that be easier on the eyes when reading the code (as opposed to EVALCORR)?
