I saw a tool that someone wrote a long while back that would convert your DSPF constants to messages in a MSGF & change the constants in the DSPF to MSGCON(). All that would be needed is to copy the message file {to a new name} & translate the text. Then to change languages, just do an OVRMSGF. To create additional languages, copy the message file {to a new name} & translate the text. \Vincent -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Simonse, Arco (CMK) Sent: June 6, 2005 3:26 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: RE: multi language interfaces Bauke, If I interpret this right, it means that for every additional language a new record has to be added. Then I have to recompile every dspf. I would build it a little more flexible. Thanks anyway, Arco. > -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- > Van: > rpg400-l-bounces+arcosimonse=meijer-potato.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces+arcosimonse=meijer-potato.com@midrang e.com] Namens B.Zelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Verzonden: maandag 6 juni 2005 15:08 > Aan: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries > Onderwerp: Re: multi language interfaces > > Arco, > > It is not that difficult.
