You mean closing the Cursor? What do you have specified for the CLOSSQLCSR parameter on the CRTSQLRPGI command? It defaults to *ENDACTGRP. You may need to change this to *ENDMOD. Thanks, Mark Mark D. I am closing the sql statement before I leave the program ,but still have the object locked....anybody with any suggestions or ideas of where my trouble could be.
