× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

You can write your own custom made programs in RPG+JavaPOI or buy commercial
products.

But for simple spool you can copy to xls in one step with some CLPs that use
SQL2POI or SQL2JXL like this one :

=====
dsplib qgpl *print

dltf spool
monmsg cpf0000 exec(rcvmsg msgtype(*last))

crtpf spool rcdlen(132)
cpysplf QPDSPLIB  spool splnbr(*last)

SQL2JXL ('select +
           substr(spool,  2, 10) as [Object\name], +
           substr(spool, 21, 8 ) as [Obj\type], +
           substr(spool, 30, 10) as [Attribute], +
           substr(spool, 44, 10) as [Owner], +
           decimal((substr(spool, 60, 7)), 7, 0) as [Size] +
          from spool +
          where substr(spool, 65, 1) >= "0"') +
        TOXLS('/home/costagliol/spool.xls') +
        SHEETNAME(SAVF) COLHDRS(*fldnam) +
        FREEZE(*YES) TRANBIN(*YES) JDEBUG(*YES)
