Hello,

I have something strange with the background in display files.

Situation:

Pgm A with Dspf A fires a routine in srvpgm B with Dspf B which contains
definitions for a subfile window.
This routine displays a subfile window (with OVERLAY keword) in which
the user can make a selection.
After making the selection the window is removed from the screen by a
write to record RMVWDW with keywords CLRL(*NO) OVERLAY and the original
screen is restored. I created with *RSTDSP *YES, I have an ASSUME
keyword in the dspf.
So far so good.

But when Pgm A calls the Srvpgm B routine again (Dspf B hasn't been
closed in the meantime), on the underlying screen it will show the
content that was saved in the first call to the Srvpgm B.
Although I can work around the problem by defining usropn in Srvpgm B
for Dspf B and do open/close explicitly, I would like to know if there
are other solutions.

Has someone experience with this behaviour?

Thanks, Arco Simonse
