Doug, Sounds as if the command default for DFTACTGRP on the CRTBNDRPG command was set to *NO when the program was first created. Since then it has been reset to *YES, possibly by an upgrade. The CRTSQLRPGI command calls the CRTBNDRPG command behind the scenes. Best way to handle this is to add the following h-spec h dftactgrp(*NO) actgrp(????) where the ???? is either a name or *CALLER. Now the other possibility is that the program was created via CRTSQLRPGI OBJTYP(*MODULE) then the CRTPGM was run manually.
