After the READC you will need to set the field to blanks and do an UPDAT on
the subfile record.

Good luck!

Subject: select field in subfile

I have a program that displays a subfile of our top 100 accounts, total
sales, margins, etc. Included with this is an input field which allows the
user to select a specific account and view the specific detail, IE: delivery

charges, hazmat charges, mileage, etc. when the user enters through that
screen it takes them back to the subfile - up to this point the program
works fine.

However the 5 (for display purposes) is still present in the input field, if

the user removes it we have a "changed" record and the program will again
attempt to display the detail but there is nothing to display since it
cannot find the record.

How do I reset that input field to blanks again?

I tried RESET *blanks but that did not seem to work.
