IO Exception Error

Does anyone know exactly what it means to receive an "IO Exception Null"
message from within an RPGLE application that is using JNI to reference Java
objects?

 

I have an encryption application that is failing to produce accurate results
whenever it is used immediately following an http post and I can't seem to
figure out why.  The first attempt succeeds when the JVM first starts up,
but all subsequent attempts produce bogus data if they follow the http post
even though the data being encrypted is un-related to the post.  

 

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
