Out of curiousity, what's the 2nd error message? =) "Douglas W. Palme" <dpalme@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>@midrange.com on 03/25/2005 09:53:42 AM Please respond to RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx To: "RPG Group" <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: Subject: Compiler error I am trying to compile a program and I am still getting two error messages that are driving me nuts. The first one is RNF7406 Data-format entry does not match the definition of the input field DSLSMN. I am attempting to read form a PF called DMPF, it only has two fields defined, the DSLSMN is a type S with a length of 3 with no decimals. In the DDS I have the input field defined as DSLSNO1 as an INPUT field type S and again zero decimals. Any idea what this error message means? --
