Hello,
Can someone direct me to a good resource that sells books that
exclusively deals with free form coding? I see a lot of books on RPG IV
/ ILE, but all of the ones I have seen only have a small section on FF
code.
If you're already familiar with fixed format RPG, learning free format
isn't very difficult. You don't need a book -- just start working in
/FREE. Put the factor1 after the opcode, and add a semi-colon to the end.
IF you have a question about a particular opcode's syntax, look it up in
the ILE RPG reference in the infocenter.
If you're learning RPG for the first time and would prefer to learn /FREE
from the ground up instead of fixed format, you're probably out of luck. I
don't think anyone has written a book from this angle yet.
