Can anyone tell me how atof handles blanks when converting? I am converting a 10 character field to a floating point value. And I get an error stating the resulting field is too small. The value being converted is ' 12.2963 '. I guess I could just change the size of the character field and test, but I would like to know how blanks are handled by atof. Thanks Griz
