Thank you.

According to the pdf a named datastructure has the same size restriction
as a character field. I do think that is a newer limitation in RPGLE
though.

AW: Redbook on iSeries limits

Hi Rob,

you will find the RPG-Restrictions in the RPGIV Reference Appendix A
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/ic2924/info/rzajp/sc09

2508.pdf

To pass a datastructure is a valid work arround.
The maximum length of the datastructure is 64K.

Betreff: Redbook on iSeries limits

Isn't a redbook or some other reference on iSeries limitations?
What is the maximum length of a parameter to a subprocedure? Is using a
data structure as a parameter a valid workaround?

I know this is somewhere but I can't seem to find it.
