We're currently planning the July issue, which (as luck would have it) 
happens to be focused on application design. Your suggestion fits 
perfectly!

The trouble is, I don't know when I'll have time to do it...  I've got 3 
magazine articles, 8 newsletter issues, and 1 tech edit. to do before 
then, plus my full time job at the sausage factory, plus I'm having a baby 

in May. :)

But it sounds like a good idea, so I'll see if I can find someone else to 
write it. (Any volunteers?)
