Michael, You should also suplly the DDS specs of the MSGSFL. There are two DDS key words related to each other and one should reference the msg queue you want to use, normally the value '*'. I also assume that the subroutine is in the main programme and not in a seperate programme or (sub)procedure. Then you have to add one for the callstack level. If it is a RPGLE programme (not a subprocedure) you may have to add 2 to the call stack, due to the PEP.
