Hi,

just an additional comment:

When a trigger is fired the database manager invokes a program in the call
stack that calls the trigger program.
For an insert trigger QDBPUT is invoked and for all other triggers QDBUDR is
invoked.
To get the program that fired the trigger, you only have to use the small
CL-Program from the FAQ with either QDBPUT or QDBUDR as called program.

Thanks Mark & Raul. I found Scott Klement's article on the iSeries Network
website. That allows me to do what you are both suggesting. It looks like
it is exactly what I need to do.
