Charles, Thank you very much! It was the name 'Out' that was causing the problem. Changed it and program compiled. I never write to data areas and forgot (or maybe even never knew) that 'OUT' was an op code. The DS with the same name as the other DS subfield was not an issue. The 'Qualified' handled that OK.
