Since most of the time the date will be today I just initialize the 
field, so I have no problem with the default 01.01.0001  I agree that it 
is better to ask for 2 digit years, unless the aplication is likely to 
use dates form the begining of the last century, but also RPG should put 
the proper *LOVAL.
