I/O buffer size -- RPG400-L

I'm sure someone on this list has the answer.  I didn't have any luck with the 
archive or the IBM Infocenter.

What is the maximum buffer size for RPG I/O associated with a file in a 
program?  The documentation I have lists a max of 128K for V4 but I can't find 
anything for V5.  It has been suggested that this limit has been raised to 256K 
but I can't verify it.

Does anyone help me out?
