Lim, You just want to convert the data in the DB to the same format as what is in the spreadsheet so you can manually compare? If so, simply import the data into a spreadsheet from the DB and use the functionality of the spreadsheet to do it. In Excel you'd want to create a "Pivot Table". I've also done something similar in Access using crosstab(?) queries.
