Two ways,

1)  CALL QCMDEXC to DLYJOB.

2) 
     H Bnddir('ROUTINES/SRVPGM':'QC2LE')
D sleep        PR               10I 0   EXTPROC('sleep')
D  seconds                      10U 0   VALUE

or, microseconds

D sleep         PR              10I 0   EXTPROC('usleep')
D  useconds                     10U 0   VALUE

Then it's just a matter of 
sleep(60 * 10);

How to make a program "sleep" for an amount of time?






 
Supposing I want to access an object and I find it is locked, and now
I want my program to "sleep", or wait, for say 10 minutes and then loop
back and try again.

Is there a way (API perhaps?) that RPGLE can do this?
