Oracle sells several middleware products that allow it to access DB2, though I'm not sure if it goes the other way.... I believe John Brandt (a list member) has a product that can connect to Oracle as an ODBC client. This would allow an iSeries application to connect to and directly manipulate data in the Oracle server. Additionally, you could use Java and JDBC to create a custom interface between OS400 and Oracle. This project would be enormously difficult.....
