The java.version attribute in the SystemDefault.properties file affects everything on the system EXCEPT when the JVM is started through JNI. Since RPG uses JNI for its Java support, you _must_ use the QIBM_RPG_JAVA_PROPERTIES environment variable if you want to control the java version for RPG. (The SystemDefaults file works for all the other properties.) Note also that using the /QIBM/UserData... version of the SystemDefault.properties file doesn't affect any users who have a SystemDefault.properties file in their home directory. -- This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
