Re: Java learning

I have started studying Java, and I am looking for recommendations as
to reading material.  Specifically, I want to explore using Java with
RPGIV.

The "WebSphere Development Studio ILE RPG Programmer's Guide" manual from IBM has a lot of good information about integrating RPG and Java. It's in chapter 11 which is titled "RPG and the eBusiness World".

You can find this manual in the Information Center under
Programming -> RPG -> ILE

There's also some good information in the Midrange.com FAQ about freeing up Java objects when you're done with them. You can read that FAQ entry at the following link:
