It's possible to get this project done with any flavor of RPG as any of
them can produce the Tab value of x'05'. I'd stick to RPGLE because of
the BIFs %trim and %editc/w

After producing the EBCDIC data use the CPYTOIMPF to convert the results
to ASCII.

Subject: Tab delimited data in a file

Hi all,

I have been asked to create a "Tab Delimited" file for download.

Can this be done in (any flavor of) RPG? If so - how????

Or must this be done using CPYTOIMPF to a file in IFS?

Thank you.
