Ron,

Deepack makes a good point. Life is better when you use the indicator
data
structure for everything in your display file including the CF/CA keys
like
so:

A CA03(03 'Exit')
A CA12(12 'Cancel')

     d DspInds ds
     d exit n Overlay(Dspinds : 03)
     d cancel n Overlay(Dspinds : 12)
     d Mode_Err n Overlay(Dspinds : 30)
     d Stra32_Err n Overlay(Dspinds : 31)
     d Stra34_Err n Overlay(Dspinds : 32)
     d Stra35_Err n Overlay(Dspinds : 33)
