When I've done this, the DN has simply been 'cn=MyUserId'.  I never
specified the domain (I only used that on ldap_init, or in the query...)

However, I haven't used this with Active Directory, only with a normal
LDAP server (such as OpenLDAP or the one on the iSeries) so I guess it's
possible that yours is different.
