Ie format 1 must be at the top and format 2 at the bottom. The 1st format you Write/Exfmt must not have Overlay (so it clears the screen) and the 2nd needs to have Overlay on it. n.b. this assumes the same program is being used, otherwise you will need to use Assume at some point. Perhaps if the problem persists, you could post some of your dds source.
