Destructors are only REQUIRED for garbage-collected languages. C++ certainly doesn't need them. No non-garbage collected programming language needs them. They're a nice to have, not a necessity. If you're releasing the memory for an object, you call its destructor at that time. If you're not releasing the memory, you should find another line of work. Joe
