Actually x+=1; is already supported.  As was beaten to death here awhile 
back.

Because, and I've seen it myself, people will change one side of the 
equation and forget the other.
The only potential problem is if you really meant for x to become simply a 
positive one, like x=+1;
And I actually made this typo while typing up this email.  :-)
