Personally, I think zip code calculation is easier then using a file to tell
you the next seq#.

The getNextCANZip proc that I posted before should do the calculation you
needed. You simply passed the current zip code and it will return the next zip
code back to you for comparison.

eval nextZip = getNextCANZip('A1Z9')

nextZip is then contain A2A0.

Subject: RE: Trivia: How many lines of code are allowed in an RPG
Program?

Anyone have any ideas on how to build a file containing all 600,000+
combinations of zip codes starting with A0A0A0 and ending with Z9Z9Z9?
I'll have the program use it so that it knows what the next canadian zip
code should be.

TIA,

Frank
