Thanx Walden for the information.

I understand that 2-3 weeks are not sufficient to learn this and become
programmer.

I have also communicated to my client that I do not know Synon but will try my
best to
learn as much as I can. I will also get ard 6-8 weeks at client place before I
really start 'coding'.
Any way, even if I dont get this project, I would like to get my hands dirty in
this.
Let's see how it goes.

regards,
Lokesh

Lokesh,

CA owns 2E now, and they offer training
<http://gems.ca.com/Gemsmarketing/CourseSchedule.asp?crsCode=CO500&clsTy
pe=L&ProdRel=&ProdGroup=&Solution=&LC=&Datefrom=&DateTo=&Owner=NA-EDUC>
in the product, there's even a class in the product next week in Dallas.

However, as a provider of 2E education and a consulting company with a
strong practice in 2E I can safely say that you're not going to become
proficient with the product in the three weeks you have. 2E let's you
write programs FAST, but 2E let's you write CRAP programs FAST too. In
three weeks you'd get a foundation of what 2E does, and how it does it,
but to be a "decent" 2E programmer is about a year, and to be "good' is
several years, no different than any other language.
