1. Prepare statement 
2. Declare cursor from prepared statement
3. Open cursor
4. Fetch from cursor
5. Close cursor (drop) 
6. Alter statement, repeat.

Steps 1 thru three MUST all appear in the source (sequentially) before the
remaining.

Subject: different iterations of SQL run statements in same program

Getting confused by the FM...

New RPG interactive application that allows user to specify selection of
data, and am using SQL w/ PREPARE to accomplish of displaying results back
to user.  User may choose to reselect any number of times.  Since I need to
run different iterations of the SQL statement, do I need to do anything
special to "drop" the previous SQL cursor before I can do the next one?
