Nabhgesh, Your question is a little "open ended" as there are numerous native and 3rd party options. As you've already noted, one available native option is CIPHER. We use an API from a vendor named PrimeFactors. Another option we've been evaluating is using the BouncyCastle open source java classes. The BC option provides access to multiple encryption algorithms, including 3Des. It also provides classes for doing simple password based encryption as well as OpenPGP. Bottom line is, what are your requirements? Are they AS/400 centric? RPG centric? The answers to these will better define some of your options. I just got to know that there are certain tools like Twofish or _Cipher MI but have restricted idea about their implementation on AS/400 (that too on V4R5). Will truly appreciate if some one can provide me any sort of guidance or interface logic on the same. Thanks in advance.
