I am curious about the "real" impact of converting our entire database of numeric data types to integer-like types. I expect a noticeable performance benefit with the conversion of zoned to integer fields when they are part of the key simply because the keys will be much smaller to parse. Packed to integer key conversion shouldn't have much of an impact at all. I'm more interested in the areas of RPG like the MOVE command or any other commands that have special functionality. Any thoughts? Mark
