But if you decide to make a copy of the QXML4PR310 service program, you 
may
need to copy the QXML4C310 service program as well.   QXML4PR310 
explicitly
references QXML4C310 in QSYS, so you'll have to put the copy of QXML4C310
service program back into QSYS after an the upgrade to V5R3 in order for 
the
QXML4PR310 service program to work.    Confused ?  Then don't try this.

Again, the above won't be supported by IBM.  I think you're really better
off using another parser.

Unfortunately, it looks like the IBM/Alphaworks site no longer has the
XML4PR400 service program for download.  They've now made it part of the 
XML
toolkit.
