Bruce,
If you are using OmniTracs from Qualcomm, there is a callable program in
there library that will give you what you want. As stated in earlier
post's the miles are as the crow flies, unless you have cross referenced
your lon/lat's to your routing system, as I did years ago at WSE.

well I am receiving true DD MM SS.  I think I have the formula down but
seem to be having some major issues with ibms api's for acos.  I am
trying a few more things then I will post the code here to see if anyone
can see what I am doing wrong.  Thank you all for your help I hope to
have more posted tomorrow on this.
