Joe,

100% in agreement with you.

I love /free format, and use it wherever possible, but this is the one thing
that really messes up my truly beautiful /free code.
even if your not switching /fixed to use MOVE etc you get caught by this.

I use a lot of subprocedures in my programs, and so constantly have to do

/free
/end-free
/free
.
.
.
what a pain in the
