Never mind: on a hunch, I tried doing a CALLB CEETREC and passing a binary 1 for both parameters, which does the equivalent of a C "exit(1);" quite nicely. Thanks, "michaelr_41@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx," for turning me on to the CEE-series API calls. I just initially guessed wrong about which one I needed. Now, I guess I get rid of all those "unwind-to-the-main-and-return-with-halt-indicator-set" operations. -- JHHL
