When you do get around to that you may want to look at my isholiday() API
(available at the same site). It tells you if a given date is a holiday
or not. It handles cases where a holiday falls on a weekend but you want
to observe it on Friday or Monday. You just tell it what holidays you
want to observe (i.e. Christmas, MLK, Memorial Day - not 2004-12-15).
