Kevin, To MQSeries, IFS objects are no different than QSYS.LIB objects. You will need to "read" the IFS XML file using a HLL program and issue MQPUT instructions to deposit the contents in MQSeries. Alternatively, you will need to "read" the MQSeries queue via MQGET to gain access to the contents of the queue. From there you can write the queue's contents anywhere you'd like (i.e. IFS, QSYS.LIB, User Space, Data Queue, etc..). Your post isn't entirely clear on what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to use MQ to perform file XFer's or simple datagram transfers? If you give me a little more insight, I can point you to some possible tools that might help. Any examples (CL/RPG/COBOL) on how to move them into MQSeries? Also, how to move data from MQSeries to the IFS? Thanks for any input you may have! PS. We're using DB2 UDB Extenders for the iSeries to compose and decompose XML. There are some additional Extender functions that work with MQSeries - however these are not supported on the iSeries. ============================================================================== This communication, together with any attachments hereto or links contained herein, is for the sole use of the intended recipient(s) and may contain information that is confidential or legally protected.
