For our shop (a few years ago) we had 15 programmers to certify. We did our own in-house training, with 2 senior pgmrs building the course and coaching others. Classes were after hours (with pizza), but paid a cash bonus for each cert (cheaper then sending to a class), with RPG Developer being the one "required" cert for every programmer to get within 6 months, and we all skipped the lower level RPG Programmer cert. We did expand this to many other certifications. We also paid the "trainers" a bonus to develop the course. Unfortunately that material not currently available. There are several companies with books, self-study materials and conferences to attend, as well as local user groups. I can point you to some offline, but I have not personally used them for this. I will say that Common, RPG World, IBM Tech Conferences, and others like this are great for getting up to speed on this stuff. jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wills, Mike N.
