What you want to do is include the ACTGRP('xxxx') keyword on the header spec in the source for the RPG IV programs. Then when they recompile you don't have to worry about a xref list. -Bob Cozzi -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bob Newell Sent: Friday, March 12, 2004 2:41 PM To: rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Activation groups documenting We have used two basic activation groups, *DFTACTGRP and QILE. The problem is that the rules for each group have not always been clear or even followed to the letter. Now I would like to clean up the activation groups and create a listing of pgm objects with activation groups to assist programmers when recompiling programs in the future. Any suggestions????
