Hi.

I have a problem with sort sequence in a SQLRPGLE program.

First I tried to set *LANGIDSHR by the SET OPTION, but it didn't have any effect...

C/EXEC SQL SET OPTION SRTSEQ=*LANGIDSHR
C/END-EXEC

Then I tried to change the job without luck...

CHGJOB SRTSEQ(*LANGIDSHR)

I even tried to compile the program with *LANGIDSHR, but it still sorts by *HEX

BUT

If I change my userprofile to *LANGIDSHR and login it sorts by *LANGIDSHR

Why can't I override the sortsequence on the userprofile?

I dont want to change all profiles or sysval to *LANGIDSHR
