I have to ask: How did you figure that one out?
- Some DB class in college?
- Experience from other databases?
- Standard DB2 iseries manuals?
- Third party book on DB2 on the iSeries?
- Someone else's code at your site?
- This list?

Do you have the DYNAMIC RESULTS SETS 2 specified on the create procedure

CREATE PROCEDURE ASSEMBLY_PARTS (IN ASSEMBLY_NUM INTEGER,
OUT NUM_PARTS INTEGER,
OUT COST DOUBLE)
LANGUAGE C
PARAMETER STYLE GENERAL
DYNAMIC RESULT SETS 2
FENCED
EXTERNAL NAME ASSEMBLY

HTH,
Charles
