Jim, The easiest way to share with other developers is to buy additional copies for them. I do have a web page up that lists all the built-in functions and the release they were introduced on, (which was used as the base for the 3rd edition of that same info in my book). That webpage is: http://www.rpgiv.com/kb/built-ins.html It has the OS/400 Version/Release they were introduced on. As for the opcodes, the only new opcode(s) in V5 were the MONITOR and ON-ERROR opcodes. So if you avoid those, you should be good to go. Also remember, QUALIFIED data structures are not support in Version 4. -Bob Cozzi -----Original Message----- From: rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rpg400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jim Franz Sent: Friday, February 20, 2004 2:42 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: target release Is there a web doc of the target release for all opcodes & bifs (and anything else) in rpgle. Quickly need to rework a package for back to 4.4 I see the bifs listed in Cozzi's new book, but need to share easily with other developers.
