Jim,
The easiest way to share with other developers is to buy additional copies
for them. 
I do have a web page up that lists all the built-in functions and the
release they were introduced on, (which was used as the base for the 3rd
edition of that same info in my book). 
That webpage is:

It has the OS/400 Version/Release they were introduced on.
As for the opcodes, the only new opcode(s) in V5 were the MONITOR and
ON-ERROR opcodes. So if you avoid those, you should be good to go. Also
remember, QUALIFIED data structures are not support in Version 4.

Quickly need to rework a package for back to 4.4
I see the bifs listed in Cozzi's new book, but
