Hans; Statement: In a HLL that allows direct allocation of storage (%alloc/malloc....) the basing pointer value, the size of storage allocated and other(?) information about the allocation is stored in a system "table". Question: If this is true why is there not a function that, given a pointer it returns the size of the allocation and any other information about the allocation?
