Not that I know of, maybe someone else knows positively.

For sure, a way to do it would be make the global subroutine a subprocedure.
-OR-
make the global subroutine a copybook (seperate source member), and "/COPY"
it into the subprocedure. (Admission: I have never tried this  :-)
