I'm still going to covert my servlets to beans and interface them with RPG. But I should probably learn more about stored procedures and SQL. It's not a one-solution-fits all world. :) Thanks, Kelly -----Original Message----- From: Colin Williams [mailto:colin.williams@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, January 12, 2004 4:25 PM To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: RPG & Java Kelly, I dont think you can access stored procedures using record level access, you'll need to use SQL via JDBC to call the stored procedures and functions. You'll also need the SQL development kit on your development box cheers Colin.W ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kelly Cookson" <KCookson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "'RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries'" <rpg400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 12, 2004 10:02 PM Subject: RE: RPG & Java > The servlets on which I'm creating the Javabeans use Toolbox for Java Access > classes for record-level access to DB2 files. > Thanks, > Kelly > > -----Original Message----- > From: Colin Williams [mailto:colin.williams@xxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Monday, January 12, 2004 4:00 PM > To: RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries > Subject: Re: RPG & Java > > > Kelly, > > what are you using to do your web stuff.
