I have a CL program that calls a prompt program and then submits a print
program. I have a file that is used in both programs. I'll call it
FILEA. FILEA is used in the prompt program to check that the user
entered valid selection criteria. The print program uses the file to
print values that match what was entered in the prompt program. The
problem I'm running into is odd to me. When the print program is
submitted to batch I receive the following error:

Error message CPF4104 appeared during OPEN for file FILEA

The job log states the following:

User not authorized to operation on file FILEA in *LIBL, member, device,
or program device *N.

I changed the CL program to run the print program interactively and I
didn't receive any errors. The user profile using the file has *ALL
object authority, but it is adopted when they sign into our ERP package.
I'm guessing that the authority isn't being included when the job is
submitted, but I'm not sure how to verify that.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?
